Ground Search for Kenny Leaf continues with assistance from OPP

Search efforts for missing person Kenny Leaf are expected to continue this morning, Tuesday July 24, 2018.

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police (AMPS) wish to notify community members that they have requested assistance of OPP K9 human remains search dog. AMPS and the OPP will jointly be searching various points of interest in Akwesasne utilizing our Emergency Response Team and Marine/SAVE unit during our continued search efforts in locating Kenneth Leaf, who has been missing since January 2018.

If you have any information that may help locate Kenneth “Kenny” Leaf and bring closure to his family and loved ones, please report it to the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service at 613-575-2000 or the Akwesasne Crime Stoppers at 613-575-2255. Tips may also be reported anonymously.

Description of Missing Person:
Kenneth “Kenny” Francis LEAF
50 years of age
Balding/saved head, dark brown facial hair (goatee)
5’9” tall, approximately 230 lbs.

Last seen wearing a camouflage jacket and green Star Wars hat.
